Your hosts, Keith and Evelyn Baker, infuse The Trailhead with their own personal style, a blend of Southern hospitality and Midwestern practicality. A self-described granola preppy, most folks would never guess Keith was a career Naval officer. Similarly Evelyn is a study in contrast between heart and mind: an artist’s heart beats strong within the body of a software testing engineer for the civil defense and aerospace industries.
Their shared tastes in design run organic, bohemian, and elegant. Their ultimate tests are simplicity and functionality. As famed French aviator and The Little Prince author Antoine de Saint Exupéry wrote:

In anything at all, perfection is finally attained not when there is no longer anything to add, but when there is no longer anything to take away…

Together, the Bakers bring their sense, sensibilities and lifelong love of the outdoors to The Trailhead.
