Welcome to the home of the West Coast Marathon Championships!
For years the mountain bike marathon has been an integral bridge between endurance racing
and cross country racing. The mileage for the marathon varies between 50-70 miles and
encompasses all kinds of epic riding conditions. The SoCal Fat Tire Epic 50 will take place at Vail
Lake Resort in Temecula, CA. The course is a demanding 50 mile epic adventure. With long
climbs and twisty -fun- roller coaster downhills. Lets not forget about the classic Vail Lake rolling
ridge line descents! With spectacular views of the wineries, Palomar Mountain, and the Agua
Tibia wilderness. This event is sure to be a classic destination!
