Sea Otter Classic

The Sea Otter Classic is a huge event. It is part race, part festival, and part trade show. It takes place on the grounds of the former Fort Ord Proving Ground, and there are still areas off limits due to unexploded ordinance! You'll find yourself right next to Monterrey Bay and even riding trails around the famous Laguna Seca raceway. Many people consider the Sea Otter Classic to begin the mountain bike race season.
