The course is one super big loop composed of some of the best off-road riding central PA has to offer in the Rothrock and Bald Eagle State Forests just outside of State College home of the Penn State Nittany Lions. Singletrack uphills and downhills, doubletrack ridge riding, fire road climbs and a bit of pavement totaling 10,000 ft of climbing. The 2006 course will be different from the old events of the 90's.

This is going to be a mean one, Folks! This course will take you over dirt and paved "State Roads" around Monongalia County in Northern West Virginia. Finish times could be 6 plus hours for some riders. Road conditions may include missing bridges, car-sized potholes, gravel, mud, black top, cow paths, and maybe a piece of road kill or two. Cackalacky Cup

20 August 2010 to 22 August 2010

The Cackalacky Cup evolved from the Crossroads Festival that began in 2000. Over the years, the festival has featured a bike swap meet, road rides, mountain bike time trials, epic mountain rides and talks by some of the pioneers of mountain biking. Each year has its own "personality".
