The Santa Monica Mountains rise abruptly out of the Pacific Ocean between Point Mugu and Los Angeles. Along the crest of these mountains and in their canyons lies an amazing system of trails, which are ideal for mountain biking.

Mountain bikers will be treated to ocean and city views as well as shaded canyons and abundant wildlife, all within minutes of the city. Access to most of these trails is possible due to their inclusion in either the Santa Monica National Recreation Area or the Conejo Open Space Conservation Agencies.
