Primary Access to Map Area

The Hurley River FSR, a 2WD gravel road with rough sections, provides seasonal access from the Pemberton valley to the map area. This road is typically open and maintained from late May to mid October. From Pemberton center, follow the Pemberton Valley Rd. west to Lillooet River FSR to Hurley River FSR to paved Road 40 (unsigned) near Gold Bridge. Approximately 58km of gravel road; drive cautiously. On Road 40 head west for Gun Lk or east for Carpenter Lk.

Year round access to the map area is available from Lillooet via the well maintained Road 40 (aka Carpenter Lk Rd) which consists of alternating paved and graded gravel sections. Distance from Lillooet to Gold Bridge is approximately 112km.

From Road 40 use Marshall Lk Rd, Tyaughton Lk Rd (unsigned), SLim Ck FSR, Gun Lk West Rd and associated side roads to access trailheads as shown on the map.

Minimum driving times: N. Vancouver (Hwy 1) to Gold Bridge via the Hurley River FSR requires 4h; N. Vancouver to Gold Bridge via Lillooet using Hwy 99 and Road 40 is 5.5h; Lillooet to Gold Bridge via Road 40 is 1.75h.

Floatplane service is currently available May-October to Spruce Lake, and June-October to Warner Lake and Lorna Lake.
