Mary's Loop (Kokopelli Loops, Fruita)
Finally, if you’re headed to the western slope, don’t miss Mary’s Loop, 13 miles of moderate-challenging trail. Climate is arid desert, so you can enjoy this one year-round. A combination of jeep trails and singletrack sections, the rocky trail is carved into the side of a bluff. With panoramic views of carved canyons and the roaring Colorado River, this trail is the beginning of the famous Kokapelli trail[sic] that connects Grand Junction to Moab, Utah.
Rim Rock Drive - Colorado National Monument
This 35 mile loop travels along Rim Rock Drive through the monument and then continues along State Route 340 to Grand Junction and back. Smooth pavement, excellent touring route, 2,300 foot in elevation gain.
